Illegal Windmills Operating in Koyna Wildlife Sanctuary, Maharashtra
Koyna sanctuary, a part of Sahyadri Tiger Reserve has about 200 windmills operating within the sanctuary boundaries. Around 500 trees have been estimated to have been chopped up for this purpose.
